Stella & Chewy’s: Industrial Design & Packaging Design

Stella & Chewy’s embarked on an exciting journey with us to design a new-to-market consumable dental treat for dogs, aiming to showcase product differentiation while building brand affinity. Following the successful creation of the dental treat by our industrial design team, our partnership with Stella & Chewy’s grew as we were entrusted with an additional project: designing packaging solutions across various formats, including bags, single serves, and boxes.

Impact: Shaping SuccessAs the Program Manager, Chris led a team of strategists and industrial designers to develop a brand new dental treat for Stella & Chewy’s, setting the stage for further collaboration. The team’s initial success with the dental treat design project paved the way for another opportunity to develop the packaging design for the treat. Acting as the glue between the two projects, Chris ensured cohesion across the teams while nurturing a strong partnership with the client. Chris’ contributions are below.
  • Conducted weekly team check-ins to uphold project schedule, address and resolve team blockers, and assess team capacity, all to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Maintained project milestone schedule using Asana while communicating resource allocation.
  • Synchronized work-in-progress and design reviews across industrial design and visual design teams.
  • Supported strategist with facilitation of user interviews to uncover pet parent behavior and insights to inform design strategy.
  • Established direct communication with client to convey feedback to incorporate in future design iterations.



Results: Dental Delights was launched in 2024, a dental treat that combines both fun and functionality, while capturing the whimsical essence of the Stella & Chewy’s brand.
